The Kurnell tornado provoked 500 calls to emergency responders, caused major damage to 25 homes and traumatised hundreds of residents. A year later, 10 of the 25 families who were forced to vacate their damaged homes were still living in alternative accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>After seeing the devastating damage to houses and businesses during the 2007 Sydney storm I co-developed Stormseal, a new, unique, plastic technology for weatherproofing damaged buildings. It has multiple advantages over tarps, the traditional alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Stormseal enables a faster, safer response and more cost-effective resilience to natural disasters.
