Stormseal is a game changer for Florida hurricane repair roofers
July 2017
While Florida might be known for its hurricanes it doesn’t have a monopoly on wild weather. On the other side of the globe, roofers in Australia face weather extremes which present a unique set of challenges. One of these challenges is how to protect houses that have been damaged and left open to the elements after hurricanes or other mega storm events. The traditional solution for temporary protection has been a blue tarpaulin, held down with lengths of rope or sandbags.
As any roofer knows, this tarpaulin setup is a far from ideal solution. Tarps frequently require replacement, because they leak, tear, blow off, or collapse under the weight of pooling rainwater. Tarp failures cause further trauma to residents and more property damage, escalating claims and labour costs.
